Beautiful Dog Friendly Park in Kennett Square, PA
We had a great time at this park! There were plenty of trails and and lots to sniff! It had a nice big lake, a stream and even a small waterfall (Dean was afraid to get to close, it made scary noises lol)
Anson B. Nixon Park is a hidden gem nestled just north of charming downtown Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Comprised of 106 acres, the Park was carved out of the historic woodlands of the late 18th through early 20th century Chambers estate. This natural setting includes two ponds, meandering streams, woodlands including a beech grove with specimens dating back over 250 years, and three miles of walking trails.
The park is open from sunrise to sunset every day of the year.
All pets in the Park shall be leashed at all times in accordance with Borough and Township ordinances. Pet waste must be picked up and disposed of in trash cans.
We had a great day! Let us know how your visit goes, and don't forget to bring some water! We love drinking out of our Gulpy! Here is an affiliate link so you can get one for your next hike.
Happy tails! Dean & Benny
